XSR900SP

Yamaha XSR900SP for Sale at Blacktown Yamaha in Kings Park, NSW | Specifications and Review Information
Based on Yamaha's super-popular MT-09 hyper naked model, the XSR900SP is modern technology wrapped in heritage styling.
The striking 80 Black colour scheme, with matching side panels, has been inspired by Yamaha's iconic RZ250 of the 1980s, a decade when the smell of two-stroke fuel lingered in the air.
Other heritage styling cues linking the XSR900SP to its forefathers include aluminium tank covers, front and rear aluminium fenders, stitched seat, circular instrument clock, circular tail light, and retro-style headlight with aluminium stays.
Power is provided by Yamaha's CP3 847cc triple-cylinder engine, featuring three levels of traction control, D-Mode selectable engine maps, and an Assist and Slipper (AS) clutch.
Suspension is a 41mm fork, adjustable for compression and rebound. The rear Monoshock is also adjustable for preload and rebound.
80 Black

847CC 3-CYLINDER
The XSR900SP has the go-to match the show with a powerful in-line 3-cylinder 847cc cross-plane engine. The liquid-cooled 4-stroke motor benefits from some of the latest bike technology to deliver an unparalleled riding experience, including a Traction Control System (TCS), Assist and Slipper (AS) clutch and D-MODE engine selection system.

YAMAHA D-MODE
The icing on the cake for total control comes in the form of Yamaha's D-MODE selection system, allowing the selection of engine character to suit the riding conditions. Riders can switch between sharper response characteristics and a milder, gentler setting with easier-to-use power for more challenging road conditions.

ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION
The XSR900SP offers total set-up control with 41mm upside-down front forks with adjustable rebound damping. The rear Monocross linked-type suspension offers both preload and rebound damping adjustment. Cast and forged aluminium brackets and handlebar crowns continue the high-quality feel.

ALUMINIUM TANK
A 14-litre fuel tank with aluminium covers takes centre stage ahead of a split level stitched seat and is complimented by front and rear aluminium fenders, aluminium side covers and a sporty aluminium headlight stay.

RETRO STYLING
The XSR900SP shows its true heritage with a timeless, pure design that pays tribute to the iconic motorcycles of the past. The 80 Black colour scheme comes with RZ250-inspired graphics and side panels that further cement its heritage status.

TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM
The Traction Control System is fully adjustable with three performance modes depending on the road conditions. Riders can opt for minimal or maximal intervention and can also switch the system off completely when appropriate to do so.
